Chiropractor at True Sport Care and Chiropractic
Dr. Thomas Pollet is a licensed chiropractor and certified personal trainer with extensive experience treating athletes, active adults, and patients of all ages. His clinical approach combines chiropractic care, sports rehabilitation, biomechanics, exercise, and individualized treatment strategies designed to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and achieve their health and performance goals.
A former high school and collegiate football player, Dr. Pollet developed an early interest in athletic performance, biomechanics, and exercise physiology. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Queens College with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Honors from New York Chiropractic College in 2017.
Dr. Pollet is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). His years of experience working with personal training clients helped shape the movement-based and individualized approach he brings to chiropractic care.
Throughout his chiropractic education and clinical career, Dr. Pollet has developed experience with a wide range of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Activator, Flexion Distraction, and Gonstead techniques, along with spinal and extremity adjusting.
Dr. Pollet has evaluated and treated thousands of patients during his years in private practice, including recreational athletes, former professional athletes, pediatric and geriatric patients, and individuals experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
His experience includes working with former NFL players and professional tennis players, as well as patients dealing with back and neck pain, disc injuries, headaches and migraines, vertigo, TMJ dysfunction, and other complex presentations.
Dr. Pollet believes that every patient should be evaluated as an individual. His examinations focus on understanding each patient’s medical history, previous injuries and physical stresses, current movement and function, and most importantly, the goals they want to achieve.
He has also been actively involved in community health education, presenting health talks, performing spinal screenings, and speaking at local businesses and educational institutions including Commack High School and Suffolk County Community College.
Dr. Pollet is the co-author of the two-part D.R.E.A.M. Journal, which focuses on diet, rest and recovery, exercise, spinal alignment, and mindset.
A longtime member of the local community, Dr. Pollet brings his experience, athletic background, and patient-centered approach to True Sport Care in Nesconset.
