Dr. Haidee Ganz-Bonhurst, PT, DPT, ATC, has dedicated over 30 years to helping patients recover, move better, and perform at their best. A former Division I track and field athlete at Penn State, she earned her BS in Health Education/Athletic Training before completing her Master’s in Physical Therapy at Columbia and her Doctorate at Boston University. As the owner of Metropolitan Physical Therapy East for 30 years, she specialized in injury rehabilitation, pain management, and performance optimization.
A Certified Athletic Trainer and Kinesiology-Taping Practitioner, Dr. Ganz-Bonhurst blends hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of movement mechanics. She also coaches track and field at Huntington High School, where she helps young athletes prevent injuries and maximize their potential.
Her passion for physical therapy stems from her own experiences as an athlete, allowing her to connect with patients on a personal level. Whether recovering from injury or striving for peak performance, she is committed to providing exceptional care.
